		<description>You forgot to mention that the one huge donation sourceforge gave is the gforge infrastructure, many sites can create they own mini sourceforge as we  do.

The missing thing is really the directory and to be honest I sometimes find it hard to search on sourceforge itself. Compare that to mp3.com which was great for people to publish their own music and discover music but not so great at making money from it.

google also searches site very frequently, just check the cache date on each sourceforge page.
